Lino Cuts, Laser Cuts, Smooth Cuts and Paper Cuts at Pete Fowlers Studio

So, I am still looking for work post-photography.

Pete Fowler, an incredible illustrator, has been giving me some projects to help out with .

I spent the best part of a week in his studio off Brick Lane helping out with a series of lino cut prints for his stall at the Art Car Boot Fair.

By the end, the studio was filled with washing lines covered with drying mono prints and the heavy smell of ink and terps.

Meanwhile, i stumbled accross my new favorite toy, a Hobarts Laser cutter at an event at the Richmix. A quick call to Pete for his band’s logo and a beautiful lime green acrylic stencil was being shot into shape and whisked back to brick lane to spray the disco bags on the new Seahawks 12″.
