Regular readers here (Please stand up and make your selves known) will know I have a love/hate relationships with infographics.

So many are let down by either poor info or graphics, not a great start.

The information is always hard to get right. In this fast paced world, that these artists are trying to illustrate, the information has usually changed before their graphic is drawn.

So it was nice to see a project called ownacolour arrive in my twitter feed this morning.

It’s a simple idea, sell one of 16,777,216 individual colours at a pound each for charity.

A beautiful, engaging way of making £16.7m.

But the best part for me was the live colour trend infographic, showing colour by country/gender/etc.
